Behold vivid, groundbreaking, and shockingly bold work by a 20th-century master of color, shape, and balance in the exhibition, "Matisse: Masterworks from The Baltimore Museum of Art," and bold music by composers including Stravinsky, Ravel and Ellington. This concludes our series of three Collaborative Performance Concerts featuring the music of MacPhail Teaching Artists with pre-concert lectures by museum staff. The pre-concert talk will be given by Erika Holmquist-Wall, assistant curator and provenance specialist in the Paintings Department at the MIA. (Pre-concert talk in Friends Community Room, 1 p.m., limited to 60 ticket holders - first-come, first-served.)
